Once, it was all nearly the venom. The poison and the power. Now, well, it's just the passion. Some of the power. Some of the celebrity.
Merely mostly but love.
What a turnabout this story takes . You'd think y'all've figured out the class, y'all've sassed the finish, simply Shanora say - No Baby, the pic isn't over yet !!
It'southward a fast paced thriller, lots of action, bullets, revenge , and hardcore sexual activity.

The volume starts where Volume 2 finished and Gianna is regretting her deportment and licking her wounds. Guilt and longing fills her heart and she's slapping herself airheaded . But hindsight, as they say , is xx-20.
This book delves deep into the cartel workings and the revenge role . The Queen is set up to stand by her King just heavy lies the head that wears the crown.....and they are right!!!
Jefe is more powerful, more slaughtering, more common cold blooded than he's always been. Y'all'd be surprised at how stone hearted or closed off he can exist. Shanora shows u.s. why he's the Boss and the King , in every graphic detail as possible !

I thought I knew what all The Jefe could do. I idea I had him completely figured out. I was incorrect. I see now that he would travel thousands of miles and set this world ablaze with each footstep when it comes down to the people he loves. He will let the entire world know he'southward on the hunt— that a modest set back doesn't take shit on his comeback— and there is naught this globe can practise to stop it.
He is the boss.
The male monarch.
The fucking Jefe.

He looks almighty and extensive ...and HE IS !.
he knows everything, sees everything, senses everything and justifies his kingpin reputation once more.
My middle was pounding throughout. The sexual activity and Jefe mouthing sexy Spanish made me swoon.
Never thought Spanish was an aphrodisiac earlier !

"Está panochita está bien mojada,"
"Ruégame,"
"Ahora, niñita."
"Cojeme mas fuerte, Jefe,"
"Eres toda mía, Gianna. Para siempre."

And Gianna surprises most of all..omg what cojones this woman has. She'southward no longer scared, cowering or doubtful. I loved her metamorphosis from a Princessa to Reina-Patrona
Shanora has wound up the story on the aforementioned annotation that is carried in previous ii book.
Alive by sword , must die by sword. Cartel or mafia life is a one way street and you're reminded ( hammered) again and once again and again. Very graphic, very violent and very scary.

A woman of power.
A woman of strength.
A woman who knows exactly what she wants and what to expect from this fucked upward globe.
My adult female.
She'south no longer the niñita that was shackled and weak.
She is strong.
She has risen.
She is Queen.
Mi reina.

I loved the enormity of the passion in the story , both overt and covert.
I loved the hardcore loyalty of every grapheme -Clark, Patanza, Emilio, Mama Molina, Ruben
I loved the clarity of vision that Shanora instills in both Gia and Draco
I loved the stark truths of Cartel life that Shanora so unapologetically highlights .
I loved the ending, it was so perfect

three Meh stars

I know, surprising correct? I gave the first ii books in this trilogy five stars and so you know my expectations for Venom and Glory were very high.

Have yous always been on a date with someone you really liked and when you go out on your third date, you are set up for more awesomeness? I know, surprising right? I gave the offset ii books in this trilogy 5 stars and and so you know my expectations for Venom and Glory were very high.

Accept y'all e'er been on a date with someone you really liked and when you go out on your tertiary appointment, you are set up for more awesomeness? Only somewhere in the date that person pissed you lot off and no matter how many times the person says sorry or tries to get yous to forget yous just can't.

Yeah that'southward how I feel near this volume.

Beginning off the author does a wonderful job in recapping the book considering permit's be honest, I forgot what happened. That's what happens when y'all release the books not closely together. I kind of thought this book would be longer and more original? Gah I hate to say it, merely information technology has been a long fourth dimension since the last volume.

The book started out okay.

Gia felt guilty and Draco was angry. I kind of like this dynamic because it gave the book a lot of tension and I dearest that the Heroine was begging for attention. I like a roughshod hero. The interaction between the two was minimal merely again I thought that was okay.

Then I got pissed. For about (view spoiler)[20% of the volume Draco and Gia were separated. You would recall something interesting would happen during this fourth dimension frame correct? NOPE. 20% of the book is Gia trying to go dorsum to Draco, like getting someone to physically bring her back. (hibernate spoiler)] information technology bored me to tears! I hate to say this because I beloved the serial so much, merely what was the author thinking? Usually this stuff doesn't bother me, simply the book is and then darn short to begin with.

Afterwards this I kind of gave up on the book and was powering my style through. I felt like I just finished the book because I loved the first 2 and so much.

I kind of liked it was short and I kind of hated it was brusk. I liked it was brusque because it wasn't really good and I hated it was curt because I didn't become annihilation from the storyline.

If I had information technology my way I felt similar the first 50% of the book should take been two storylines, 1.) Draco all the same mad at Gia and ii.) they both hunted for Hernandez together. Then the second half of the volume should have been a totally different storyline. Like hunting for Henry? Or maybe Gia gets pregnant and Draco has to deal with that on top of someone coming later on him?

I but felt like the story I got was kind of a wash out. I didn't care for information technology. It didn't have the writing beauty of the beginning ii books. The first ii books had this ability story betwixt these two powerful characters. The chemistry was then charged and vamped up! Gah, I wanted that for this Book!

I'k so disappointed.

BUT I withal dear the writer.

so, in the previous installment (book 2), Gia makes a rash, impulsive determination and that action leads to a huge clusterfuck. She'southward taken away past Draco'southward enemy Hernandez (who is BTW, a woman and has a very intense history with Drago, hmmm, go figure!), and so Draco's latest shipment goes flat, and people die...people close to Draco...

and all that cause of the grugde of a adult female scorned, and her ill ambition to accept over the drug deals across United mexican states (thus Draco needs to go!)

Anyway, the casulties are huge and this impact sets the relations between Draco and Gia to shit, cause well, he blames her, cause she betrayed him by doing shit behind his back.

Fact 1. that one is the truth - she was annoyingly rash and heisty and self-righteous, thus leading it to clusterfuck

Fact 2. He should have checked the circumstances better, cause needs to be on top of every single thing, and he wasn't, so information technology tin't be all on her...right?!

Fact 3. Anybody turns teir back on her and yet they protect her (I really didn't get the connection - encounter, she wanted to get nether Draco's skin, make him compliant so she tin can make him exercise her bidding, she wanted to escape the whole time, cause she hates this life imposed on her fifty-fifty though she did ACCEPT him...hmmm, now, after all is said and done, Draco hates her simply yet he doesn't, he loves her, only he doesn't say that to her, cause he can't face her, so he sends her away, cause I thousand non quite sure WHY? (cause he's blaming her for the whole shit ordeal, cause he tin can't focus on dealing whit this clusterfuck aftermath, or cause he loves her and wants to protect her...I'm lost, possibly it'due south all of the above...I dunno)

So, he sends her back home, to u.s.a. (to her family) and and so he leaves her recordings of his dearest confessions...gah!!!

Of course, subsequently she lands habitation, a few days pass, and voila she decides to go back to Mexico, crusade suddenly she's determined to bring him dorsum, crusade he needs hee and she loves him too...
(oh, brother...)

so, this is similar around 70% of the book, and I by and large rolled my eyes...those ii were like petulant kids having their emotional tantrums and everyone effectually them are "explaining" the emotions they experience for 1 another, cause they don't understand them, themselves...
Really?! *sigh*

then the whole activity starts, aye they get the bad guy (pardon me, a woman) and they alive happily ever later...

come to recollect of it, equally I write this, I'm still pretty disappointed...

since book i & 2 were so promising...this was so lame, that I'm on a verge of giving it a 2 stars rating...but since the previous books were beyond average and good...I'll leave information technology at 3 stars...simply it still leaves a biting taste...

I nonetheless don't really care for the couple, the story dragged, and there was so much build-up to getting revenge on a certain character that merely fizzled out with a quick fight scene. Eg. 1 of stfu Gia: Gianna has just betrayed Draco which led to his cousin/bestfriend being killed, withal this daughter is still dying to be called "Patrona" (Boss). Count your blessings hon, and chill.

"Her hand drops, her agitation on total brandish now. "Get on the fucking jet, Gia," she snaps at me.
"Information technology'due south Patrona to you," I bite out."

East.g 2 of stfu Gia: For once she does something cool and actually kills somebody. Yay Gia! But ruins it by following it upwards with some looooong ass speech communication. 🙄

E.chiliad. three of stfu Gia: Her repetition injure me. Nosotros know Draco is head of the mafia but she goes on and on about his rep. Please, Gia. STFU.

Anyways probably my favourite book in the series - mayhap considering it was the last. I can't say I'll particularly remember it. Pretty much all the fictional men were rapists and Draco vanquish the shit out of the female antagonist and had sex with her (in the past) to become his groove off, only you know... whatever considering he doesn't exercise that with Gia so it's all fine and dandy. Said female person has come back for revenge considering she was in love with Draco and wanted to exist the "Patrona." Gia has a kid, Draco steps down, they kill the female person antagonist ho-bag only I wasn't exactly rooting for their HFN.

"Toni ever did say she was pretty damn gullible. I simply didn't think, being Lion Nicotera'south girl and all, that she'd be that like shooting fish in a barrel to fool."

Me: Then true.

I want to tell her how stupid she is for doing what she just did— killing the only source that could have gotten the states to Hernandez— but I don't, considering she did exactly what I would take done. She killed him.

Me (yelling): She IS stupid! Stop making excuses you wouldn't take killed him yet!

Of course you already know THAT wasn't the last time she didn't heed nor that last time she allow her anger rule her trigger finger. El Jefe will make an advent in the final book of The Cane Series in 'Loving Pikestaff' that drops in September 2018.

I was anxious for Gia after the ending of volume two I had no idea what the hereafter had in store for Gia and Jefe and let me tell you if you thought the outset books were intense you haven't seen anything still.

I sincerely don't know how I got this far in this series. There are just some novels that aren't all that great but okay enough for you to ability through and this was that. Any involvement gained from book ii was lost. I had to re-read my review of the previous novels and it hasn't fifty-fifty been a month since I read them. I still don't understand why I anticipated the arrival of this novel and then clearly information technology missed the mark of what I expected.

I found the irony of their reactions to Gianna just that. Ironic.

I sincerely don't know how I got this far in this series. In that location are merely some novels that aren't all that peachy just okay plenty for you to power through and this was that. I however don't understand why I anticipated the arrival of this novel so clearly it missed the marking of what I expected.

I found the irony of their reactions to Gianna merely that. Ironic. Later on all, these are the same people who treated her like shit for days and literally had her sleeping in a cell with faeces in the corner. I think righteous indignation and trust stops at beingness ass raped. Simply maxim.

There has never been much to make Draco interesting to me but I did love to come across him swing a machete and his morbid obsession with poisonous flowers were interesting to a indicate but I can truly say that I got a sense of the man behind el jefe from this novel. He showed more emotions and I believe this is the offset fourth dimension we got his present POV? It certainly helped. I understood his inner struggles and his pettiness wasn't bad either and believe me, he can be petty with the best of them! Likewise bad, I still don't know why Gianna hangs the moon in his world.

I've never known what to brand of Gianna Nicotera and that unfortunately didn't modify with this installment. I too constitute information technology amusing and laughable that with zero training or guidance, the daughter who continually buried her caput in the sand started to have anger black outs that have her throwing other humans overboard yachts. All of a sudden, she was a ruthless badass and I don't know where it came from merely clearly the name Yessica was a trigger. Whether spoken out loud or in her head. There was no build upwards to her having these moments. 1 minute she's getting highlights in her hair and the adjacent she's transporting expressionless bodies from America to Mexico.

Which brings me back to my next question. Why Utah? Was information technology solely to bring Clark? Because ane thing I have always loved about this series is the setting. I dearest that we stayed truthful to United mexican states and traversed and explore that state and no where else. Until now at least.

Overly dramatic but packed with way more emotion between all the characters, except Gia, this novel basically wrapped those annoying cliffhangers throughout the serial. Draco and Patanza open up up more and we discover someone to rival Thiago's personality and we got the pleasance of meeting the near sensible person in this series. Emilio. As for Gia, she's nevertheless trying to bear witness why she deserves to be queen. Might as well give information technology to her.

Venom & Glory is the 3rd, and sadly, concluding book in Shanora Williams' Venom Trilogy.

It continues off right where book 2 ended, with anger, mistrust and hatred brewing betwixt Draco, El Jefe and his queen, Gia.

Doubts are dangerous, they make you question, they make you act, practise things that end upwardly every bit betrayals, bring nearly heavy consequences that one has to alive with.

Venom & Celebrity is the third, and sadly, final book in Shanora Williams' Venom Trilogy.

It continues off correct where volume 2 concluded, with anger, mistrust and hatred brewing between Draco, El Jefe and his queen, Gia.

Doubts are dangerous, they make you question, they make you act, practise things that finish up as betrayals, bring nigh heavy consequences that one has to live with.
How does one cope with beingness betrayed by the only adult female he'south ever allow in?

This book is everything. It is danger and excitement, action and take chances, gruesome as well as fiery, hatred and dear. It is a combination of so many things wrapped up into El Jefe and La Reina.

You become to experience being a part of living life within a cartel. Her words are and so descriptive, you can't help but seewhat they run into, feel how they feel, and understand why their actions are what they choose.

Draco "El Jefe" Molina is the man. He is the most powerful drug lord in the world. He is feared, reveared, respected, and hated all at the same fourth dimension. No i date crosses him.

Gia Nicotera was the princess. Though born into a unsafe family unit, she was e'er protected, subconscious, naive despite her background. That is, until their paths finally crossed.

Venom & Glory shows us a slightly different Jefe. It introduces us to the emergence of his La Patrona.

This is non only a love story, it is a story of self-growth. It is beloved, and acceptance, and hope.

We started out equally hate and state of war. Passion and Venom. Venom and Ecstasy. Just at present, we hold the same bite filled with venom, and accept accomplished all the glory.

I don't desire to let Draco and Gia go. I loved them from the first, I may have hated them at times and wanted to slap them upside the head at certain times but their story brought me so much feelings, I but couldn't let them get away.

It is bittersweet for me as I click the screen od my kindle and the last folio flips, I don't want to let them go. I don't want to leave their story merely despite all these feelings, I am so glad I got to read the very first volume of the trilogy because it brought me to this moment.

Is Gianna even willing to put her life into jeopardy to be with him – a ruthless monster, a killer?

We waited on pins and needles for Shanora Williams to provide us with the last part of Gianna and Draco'southward journey. And, my, did this woman evangelize! It's gritty, emotional and total of malaise. Dark and raw. Draco is not a good man, and Gianna has come to detect that she can be as ruthless. Her transformation in the second book shocked me, had me speechless, oral fissure agape. She grew and then much throughout the books, condign the perfect woman at Draco Molina's side. As deep as Draco's fascination for rare and unique flowers goes, this story is all but petals and roses. It will make you feel uncomfortable, perchance fifty-fifty disgust y'all at times, questioning yourself how you can root for these characters. Well, at least that's what I did. Simply I take come up to accept that my dark and depraved heed prefers exactly as night and twisted romance to sweetness and funny.

In this story it comes all to a head, el Jefe will practise annihilation to protect his queen, no matter the costs, collateral impairment be damned. In one case she is safe, nobody else is. There will be blood, lots of it, until he finally gets what he came for: His revenge…

My heart has been played, battered and broken, my adrenaline pumping on a much higher level than healthy. If you're a drinker, accept your vino handy while reading, if yous smoke, have a cigarette at hand, if your guilty pleasure is chocolate, yous will need that to pacify you, but in any case, have your tissues handy, considering fifty-fifty if you do not cry throughout the story, you might shed a tear at that perfect epilogue.
